Playing Léo, a police officer who considers himself to be the best on the Riviera, is Alice Taglioni. She does, however, give off an odd impression; she is untidy, chain smokes, and sports a beppe hat. In an attempt to solve the death of her brother Ludo in Germany, a German police officer is dispatched to Nice. The stunning Mélanie, Stéfi Celma, who claims to speak flawless French without an accent because her mother was French, turns out to be the German police officer. Léo doesn’t like Melanie right away. It soon becomes clear that Melanie was Ludo’s fiancée, and the two of them intended to wed. Of course, when the group who killed Ludo shows up in Nice, Léo and Mélanie will have to cooperate.
