Arcadian is a story about a father and two teenage sons struggling to survive in their isolated farmhouse. A shocking revelation puts them in grave danger at night pushing them to the edge. When compared to other post-apocalyptic movies, Arcadian seems confusing and similar to superior films. The first second and third acts of Arcadian are uninteresting and lackluster. It tries to blend elements of a coming-of-age drama with a post-apocalyptic setting but fails to deliver a compelling narrative.
