Brats 2024

Director Andrew McCarthy’s new Hulu film Brats looks at how the “Brat Pack” label affected a group of young actors in the 1980s. McCarthy said he was part of the Brat Pack. Other actors in the group included Emilio Estevez Rob Lowe Judd Nelson Alley Sheedy Demi Moore and Molly Ringwald. For their whole careers these performers were known as the Brat Pack. McCarthy focused on finding the heart of the story rather than examining each Brat Pack member’s films. In Brats McCarthy spoke with former co-stars and experts like Malcolm Gladwell.
