Before the celebrations started, the Chernins had a few modest creative ambitions for “Incoming.” In one point in the story, Ruby talks Benj into accompanying him as he distributes phoney narcotics to dubious individuals. The majority of the film is devoted to the meeting, during which Eddie and Connor are rejected and given other instructions. Again, even though Mr. Studebaker presents a strong concept, innovation is not given priority in the production.
