Good Grief 2024

The plot of Dan Levy’s film Good Grief centres on Marc, an artist who travels to Paris with his closest friends Sophie and Thomas to help him process and deal with his loss. Following the death of his spouse Oliver Marc embarks on a self-love and self-discovery journey while attempting to reconstruct and repaint a new life without him. Although not everyone enjoys or wants to discuss grief, it is something we all go through and cannot be avoided. The ensemble features a number of well-known actors who have great chemistry with one another. Levy is his charming delightful self and although it’s difficult to see him as David from Schitt’s Creek he brings an unquestionable honesty to the part that doesn’t come across as unduly weighty or depressing.
