The Bikeriders 2024

Based on a book by Danny Lyon The Bikeriders is set in Chicago in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The story is told by Kathy. She talked to Lyon a photographer who spent years with the motorcycle club called the ‘Vandals’. This was during a time of change in America. The movie offers a nostalgic look at traditional American culture. Kathy’s world changed when she suddenly met the new Vandal Benny who was edgy but quiet.There was something intriguing about him that drew her in. At first she felt out of place but she gradually adapted to that world. After marrying Benny she became part of the group led by the charismatic Johnny.
