‘Garfield: The Movie’ is one of the few big attempts to adapt the lazy cat character. The movie only shows a few of Garfield’s iconic routines and lazy behaviors. The story focuses on Garfield’s trip to reunite with his father. But it removes Garfield from his familiar surroundings. People wanted to see more of Garfield’s fun, everyday life, not just his origin story as a kitten, which is also barely shown in the movie. The script tries to look nice with good lines.
